Le
Santo has continued to successfully climb the Dressage ladder and competed
quite nicely at PSG and Intermediate I during the 1999 show year.
Le
Santo, a recognized Holsteiner Stallion by the legendary Landgraf I, is
described as "the ideal modern sporthorse."
Fast
becoming a legend in his own time, Le Santo stamps his foals indelibly
with powerful movement, extraordinary athletic abilities, remarkable
dispositions, and sound minds. His
offspring are well noted for being easy to break and
ride.
In
spite the fact that there are now more horses in international competition
than ever before, only one breed has the versatility and athleticism to
consistently capture more than 35% of the prizes in world-class horse show
competition - though comprising only 6% of the participants. This is the
magnificent Holsteiner. He is
among the leading Holsteiner Sires in America and has produced more
premium foals and mares than any other Stallion.
Like him, his get consistently excel in show jumping, dressage, and
driving. As a result of this,
he was named the American Holsteiner Performance Sire of the Year for
1999.
